History
A CLINIQUE THAT OFFER ITS CUSTOMERS THE MOST RECENT AND RELIABLE TECHNOLOGY FOR OVER 40 YEARS
In 1975, Dr Elie Turgeon and Jacques Racine founded Radiology et Imagerie Medicale de la Capitale (RIMC) to offer a rapid access to radiology and medical imaging service to the residents of Quebec City and the surrounding areas. Since then, our Clinic has always been located at the same address: 4225, 4th Avenue West, Quebec City (P.Q., Canada).
Originally outfitted with two general radiology rooms, a service of fluoroscopy and computer tomography, we constantly strived to offer our patients the latest offering in the field of radiology. Consequently, over the years, our clinic has been modernized to keep abreast of new breakthrough technologies such as the addition of mammography service in the 80s. Furthermore, when the screening program for breast cancer was implemented in the 90s, the clinic was already in control of mammography examinations and did not hesitate to modernize its equipment with the same objective: to provide the highest quality services to its patients. Today there are many tests available at RIMC: bone densitometry, virtual colonoscopy, ultrasounds, and many others. The clinic proudly serves the population of Quebec City and others regions with a notorious professionalism and discretion. Our specialized physicians and the quality of our staff help to keep Radiologie et Imagerie Médicale de la Capitale (RIMC) a reference in the field of private Diagnostic Radiology in Canada.
